My devotional time this morning was based on the history of the Family of Jesus. Have you ever read the scripture in Matthew 1:1-25? It gives you the entire list of the ancestor of Jesus. And then the Birth announcement to Joseph by the Angel. Then go back to the Old Testament and read:

Isaiah 7:13-14 Then Isaiah said, "Ahaz, descendant of David, listen carefully! Isn't it bad enough that you wear out the patience of people? Do you also have to wear out the patience of my God?
The Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be pregnant. She will have a son, and she will name him Immanuel."

"The only way God could bring about the salvation of the fallen human race was to assume the form of the race He was to redeem. He became human!!  He has given us the opportunity of salvation. Our choice. But still through His birth and death on the cross we can have eternal life." (From: MY TIME with GOD)
Do you really know who Jesus is? Do you really know Him as your personal Lord? How have we been blessed through the linage of Jesus?
Thanks for joining me today in my devotions. Please feel free to comment. Would love to hear your testimonials on your salvation.
Have a Blessed Day!!

Publisher: Write Integrity Press

Synopsis:
Board to Death is a Trio of Mysteries in the Dangerous Games Series. The book is written by Amy Barkman, Debbie Roome, and Tracy Ruckman.

Baby Boomers Polly Nichols, Lindsay Wilson, and Gretchen Anderson may live worlds apart, but they have one common hobby – a penchant for board games.

Polly’s serene Kentucky campground turns sinister when the manager is a VICTIM of murder.

In New Zealand, Lindsay’s life is turned upside down when MIND GAMES and evidence drag her into a murder case - as a suspect.

At the Kettle’s On Campground in Georgia, Gretchen matches wits with a murderous wordsmith intent on winning the latest game of SENTENCED.

You’ll love the games, the characters, and the stories – and we promise, you won’t be BOARD to Death!

To our readers: Our characters are Christians, just as the authors are who created them, so their lives and their stories reflect this viewpoint. We hope you enjoy our fun and unique stories.

My Review:
Three stories in one. And to make it interesting, they all three are mysterious connected by games.

These three authors knows how to keep you going. The only thing that I missed was near the end. I honestly was looking for the story to continue right on into the next. Instead the next story started by new characters and new mystery.

The characters were good. The plots were good. But wish the book just flowed right on through instead of really separating the stories. I know it was by three different writers. But they were based so I thought off of the same Game.. Board to Death..  But this is just my opinion, I was just a little disappointed.

So due to the above I am giving this book a Breath of Life Rating of::

Three Clock Rating!!!

My devotion today is based on God Guiding and Protection. Starting today in Matthew 2:1-23. It is about where the wise men came to visit Jesus, the warning that was given and where Mary and Joseph took Jesus because of it. Also about Herod kills the baby boys trying to kill Jesus. Then the Old Testament reading:

"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are too small to be among the army groups from Judah, from you will  come one who will rule Israel for me.
He comes from very old times, from days long ago."
"The Lord will give up his people until the one who is having a baby gives birth; then the rest of his relaives will return to the people of Israel.
At that time the ruler of Israel will stand and take care of his people with the Lord's strength and with the power of the name of the Lord his God.
The Israelites will live in safety, because his greatness will reach all over the earth.
He will bring peace."  Micah 5:2-5

Oh how wonderfully that history in the scriptures shows that God has led us and protected us.

Do you allow God to Lead? How has God's protection protected you through out your life?

It is in our nature to try and take control of things to make things go our way. But as above says, that God leads and protects. We have free will, God gave us that. But I am sure that if we start our day with giving God control of that day and let Him lead us then He will protect us thought out the day.

Praise the Lord for His leading and His protection throught my life. Praise Him for keeping my family safe as well.

Thanks for joining me today in my devotions. Please feel free to comment. Would love to hear your testimonials on your salvation.

Will Daynia win over her Romeo? Or will Richard never realize the value of the gem he holds in his hands?

My Review:
A triangle of Love. Have you ever been there? Well reading this book brought back some memories of my own past.

Living in what everyone calls the honeymoon destination in the world doesn't help Daynia get a fix on her own miserable past. Then falling for a man, Richard, who is trying to out run his own past really puts Daynia in the middle.

Author Joana James writes an awesome story of romance, heartache in a beautiful setting. The twists and turns keeps you rooting for Daynia. But then again how much more can one girl take.

Not going to give away any thing within these wonderful pages. Read for yourself and let it take you to another place where people work out their life's in an everyday world.

And for those reasons above I am giving Finding Romeo by Joana James a Breath of Life Rating of:

Five Clock Rating!!!!
